Today, we’re thrilled to release Sean Danielsen (Of Smile Empty Soul) single, ‘Unsaid’ which is taken from his recently released EP, Mind Control To Steal The Soul.
Danielsen shares,“ ‘Unsaid’ is about holding in your emotions until you’re about to explode. I teamed up with J.T. Ibanez for the video, and it turned out great. The slow-motion feel matches the song perfectly, and the imagery brings out the lyrics in a very nice way.”
Sean started Smile Empty Soul back in the late 90’s in Los Angeles California, and in 2002 they signed a major label record deal with Lava/Atlantic. With Smile Empty Soul’s self-titled debut album, it soon turned certified gold with sales in excess of 500K+ and was spawning three billboard charting singles, including the biggest Rock/Alternative hits of the year: Bottom of a Bottle, Silhouettes, and Nowhere Kids.
In between recording and road schedules, Sean began working on solo material that was a little “off the beaten path” for Smile Empty Soul, releasing his first solo EP “Enjoy The Process” in 2013 with producer Eddie Wohl (36 Crazyfist, Ill Nino, World Fire Brigade) for the six track acoustic record. Since then, he released “Food Chain” in 2014, “Product of Isolation” in early 2017, and now the recently released EP “Mind Control To Steal The Soul.”
