Black metal band Kosmogyr have just dropped their debut track “Quiescent”. The song sees the duo off to an explosive start as they gear up for the upcoming release of their full album.
Kosmogyr comprises Shanghai native Xander Cheng (The Arcbane) and Ivan Belcic, formerly of Shanghai’s The Machinery of Other Skeletons and Death to Giants. With Ivan now living in Prague, he and Xander collaborated long-distance to bring their black metal vision to life. “Quiescent” represents over a year’s worth of collaborative efforts from the two musicians.
“Quiescent,” released on June 25th, is the first of numerous songs the pair have been writing. A full album is planned for release later in summer 2017.
