Raise Your Horns: Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest Returns to Philly in 2025!

Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philadelphia

Prepare to unite over brews and riffs on April 4-5, 2025, as Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly roars back to The Fillmore for its eighth year! This unparalleled two-day celebration of heavy music and craft beer will bring the loudest and heaviest vibes Philly has ever seen.

Headlining the first night, Swedish death metal pioneers Dismember will deliver a rare performance of their 1991 classic Like an Ever Flowing Stream in its entirety, along with other crushing tracks. The following evening, Bay Area thrash legends Exodus will close the fest with a full performance of their groundbreaking debut Bonded by Blood in honor of its 40th anniversary, along with a selection of iconic thrash anthems.

The stacked lineup doesn’t stop there. Expect a barrage of blistering sets, including New York death-thrash titans Demolition Hammer making their Philly debut, and Washington, D.C.’s melodic death metal veterans Darkest Hour, who will commemorate 20 years of their landmark album Undoing Ruin by playing it front-to-back.

In celebration of Relapse Records’ 35th anniversary, the bill also features:

  • Grindcore masters Pig Destroyer
  • Epic metal warriors Eternal Champion
  • Death metal savants Vastum
  • Local vampunk icons Devil Master
  • Gothic rockers Sonja
  • Fargo death metal crushers Maul
  • Melodic doom purveyors Mother of Graves
  • Death/doom outfit Funeral Leech
  • Blackened speed thrashers Vicious Blade
  • Occult black metal mystics Unholy Altar

And that’s only half the fun! The weekend will also showcase an extraordinary lineup of breweries, presented by craft beer legends 3 Floyds Brewing (IN). Featured breweries include:

  • WarPigs Brewing (IN)
  • Magnanimous Brewing (FL)

As soon as the lineup is announced we start counting down the days for Metal & Beer Fest. Metal, beers, maniacs, old and new friends—what’s not to love? We wouldn’t miss it for the world, and hopefully, you don’t either! See ya there.”
