Everything is bigger and more badass in Texas, and Dallas’ HELLYEAH is no exception. The group performed an adrenaline-fueled set in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Blood-spattered vocalist Chad Gray got the crowd fired up with his energetic stage presence, as he belted out the chorus for “Sangre por Sangre (Blood for Blood),” along with bandmates Vinnie Paul on drums, guitarists Tom Maxwell and Christian Brady, and bassist Kyle Sanders. Guitarist Tom Maxwell, who broke his foot in three places earlier in June, understandably performed from a seated position with a large cast on his leg. However, it didn’t prevent him from shredding on “War in Me” or “Cross to Bier (Cradle of Bones).”
