Download Festival, the ultimate celebration of rock and metal, has just unveiled a massive second wave of 22 artists set to storm its 22nd edition in 2025.
Powerhouse acts such as Rise Against, Opeth, Myles Kennedy, Shinedown, AWOLNATION, Power Trip, Hatebreed, Palaye Royale, and Municipal Waste join the already stacked lineup.
This year’s festival is set to take place from June 13-15, 2025, at its legendary home in Donington Park, Leicestershire. General tickets are available now at www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
The latest additions also feature Crossfaith, Dirty Honey, unpeople, Smash Into Pieces, MOTHICA, Zetra, Bastardane, Kids In Glass Houses, Elliot Minor, Twin Atlantic, Cattle Decapitation, PRESIDENT, and NECKBREAKKER. These acts will share the stage with an already stellar roster headlined by Green Day, Sleep Token, and Korn, along with Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Within Temptation, Eagles Of Death Metal, The Darkness, and many more.
Returning to the Download stage, Shinedown expressed their excitement: “Playing Download is an unforgettable experience. The UK crowd is always electric, and there’s nothing like the feeling of thousands of voices singing with us. Get ready, because we’re bringing everything we’ve got!”
