About SLAUGHTERSUN:
Officially formed in 2023 by band leader Ben Karas (THANK YOU SCIENTIST, WINDFAERER) after years of experimentation; SLAUGHTERSUN is a novel approach to the genre of death metal taking influence from bands such as GORGUTS, DEATH, CANNIBAL CORPSE and AT THE GATES. Comprised of Karas’ THANK YOU SCIENTIST band mate Cody McCorry, along with Jason Quinones (TOMBSTONER) and Justin Hillman (CRANIAL DAMAGE) SLAUGHTERSUN made its first strike in December 2023 with the release of the critically acclaimed single “Fall of the Firmament”, marking the band as a musical force to be reckoned with.
