With the recent resolution of some legal issues, Stone Temple Pilots are back with the original name, no longer needing to add the additional “with Chester Bennington” to the moniker. This makes everyone happy, especially the STP and Linkin Park frontman. The band is working on an upcoming full-length studio album which may be out by the end of the year. The album will be a follow-up to the 2013 EP High Rise, which marked the first studio project with Bennington taking on vocal duties for the band.
Stone Temple Pilots played Friday, April, 10 2015, at The Fillmore in San Francisco, to a sold out audience. Bay area photographer Todd Sipes was there to capture the energetic performance for AntiHero Magazine.
I'm an avid photographer, soaking up everything I can possibly cram into my brain in the least amount of time. I especially enjoy abandoned photography. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area provides so much in the way of historical sites. I like to capture these places using techniques such as HDR and painting with light to give viewers a chance of seeing these places as something other than "old and gross." I also enjoy concert, urban exploration, landscape, and people photography, but I'm open to exploring all genres. Check out Todd's website here.
