    Thomas Woroniak Photography portrait.Hailing from Rockford, Illinois, Thomas Woroniak’s journey to becoming a music photographer and the founder of Antihero Magazine is a testament to his deep-rooted passion for music and visual storytelling. His love for music began at just 10 years old when he picked up the guitar, a path that would lead him to study Classical Guitar Performance and Music Theory and Composition at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

    While immersing himself in music, Thomas discovered his talent for concert photography—a perfect fusion of his appreciation for live music and his creative eye. This passion culminated in the creation of Antihero Magazine, where he serves as the founder and Editor-in-Chief. The magazine has become a go-to platform for fans of heavy music, offering exclusive interviews, album and concert reviews, festival coverage, and breathtaking live photography.

    Based in the greater Kansas City area, Thomas’s photography captures the electrifying energy and atmosphere of live performances, focusing on festivals, live events, and editorial work. His dedication to his craft is further reflected in his membership with the Professional Photographers of America, underscoring his professionalism and commitment to excellence.
